((So it’s nearing the end of the school year for me and I really need to just take some time and focus on studying studying studying, soooo… I have to put my blog on hiatus for at least a couple days. Probably like a week at most. Also why I haven’t been very active lately…
But then once that’s over with, I’ll be on all the time because I have nothing else to do once school is done~
So, see ya guys in a few days!))

First two are of me, and the second two are me cosplaying as Roy Harper in a dress. In case anybody was wondering what’s even going on with that.
Now, to wait for my lovely prom date’s pictures to surface~. <3
((Casually rubs face on computer screen??
Really darling, you’re gorgeous. <3 Guys, come see how pretty Lex-mun’s girlfriend is.
Also, crossdressing Roy Harper.))
((Apology note for my roleplay followers, I don’t have a personal so that makes it hard to do stuff like tumblr prom—so instead, I’m posting my prom photo here!
Also will be reblogging the pics of my tumblr prom date and lovely girlfriend, also shootingstraight/the-redarrow’s mun!
And now for my one picture… now that I’ve seen her four I feel like I should have taken more than one…))
((Sorry for not being on this week! It was tech week for a play I’m assistant directing, so not much time to get online—I’m back now though!
Like if I owe, or I’ll probably miss your post, oops.))
Lex had a good point, to say the least. The tabloids catching the two of them on a dinner date sure as hell beat the taboids catching Roy sneaking out of Lex’s penthouse at two in the morning. The ‘simply good sex’ comment may or may not have stung just a tad, though the archer certainly didn’t let it show. That’s pretty much what it was at that point, wasn’t it?
Until the businessman opened his mouth again, anyway. And — yeah, there it was. Roy had guessed that there was a catch somewhere. Confessions. Great. He watched Lex, probably a bit more warily and defensively than necessary without realizing, eyes widening slightly. There it was.
If Roy were to be completely honest with himself, he’d sort of… Developed a thing for Lex five years before, when they’d been ‘enemies with benefits’. Not that he would have ever acknowledged or admitted it — he’d been fresh off with the news that this was the man who had cloned him, not to mention his developing relationship with Jade at the time and his eventual drop from the radar. No way in hell he would have entertained the idea. Now, though… Ugh. The guy didn’t wait around very long before he moved in, did he?
“Yeah, fine,” The redhead paused for a moment to let out a sigh, “No point in denying anything, right?” Then his blue gaze hardened slightly. “So, what, you’re proposing a relationship? I just got out of one of those — I’m very recently divorced, remember? You’ve got one hell of a sense of timing.” Did he want to ‘start a relationship’ with Lex Luthor? At this point, Roy couldn’t deny that maybe he did. But he’d been so damn stretched thin lately, and he didn’t want to jump blindly into anything he didn’t have to. Things couldn’t just be easy, could they?
Yes, Lex did remember. The fact that his lover had just been divorced was part of the entire reason he had jumped on the opportunity—Roy was unattached now, and open to another romantic engagement, Whether he said as much or not.
“I’d say my sense of time is spot on, actually,” Lex responded, lips curling into an amused smile, and his eyes softened a little. He relaxed again, because here—he had caught Roy in his web again, and knew the younger man wouldn’t say no.
All he needed was a little push.
“Yes, I’d like to start a… relationship, if you wouldn’t be so opposed,” he affirmed, the unspoken as I know you wouldn’t be tacked on in how Lex looked at him. “It’s rather silly to be this physically intimate without acting on matters of the heart as well, isn’t it? Besides, I have an inkling you could use another element of stability in your life.”
Generally late, right. Finding that he didn’t have a retort worth voicing, he offered only a light shrug. Besides, he found himself distracted for a fleeting moment as he felt Lex’s eyes on him, sizing him up in his new suit — something he hadn’t worn since the incident in Rhelasia. At least the elder man looked rightfully pleased. He’d been the one to send the outfit over in the first place, after all.
Lex’s next comment was easier said than done. Beyond the point that, yeah, a date with Lex had him a little on edge, the redhead hadn’t been truly settled in a long time. Even since resurfacing and turning things around, he hadn’t really found much time to actually relax. Between rehab, the divorce, job hunting, money, and caring for Lian, there wasn’t a lot of time. He had at least occupied Lian with her grandmother for the evening. Still, settling wasn’t exactly going to happen in the forseeable future.
But, he digressed. Might as well enjoy the evening while it lasted. Lex was far from bad company to have. “Yeah,” he replied, “one way to look at it.” Since they’d been… involved, to some degree, for at least five years. Though Roy couldn’t shake the feeling that Lex had something planned for the evening. “Really don’t care what the tabloids are going to say, then? If they’ve noticed my visits yet, they haven’t mentioned anything.” But a night like this was sure to catch somebody’s attention.
“I’d rather the tabloids catch wind of it on my terms, rather than by noticing your late night visits to the penthouse,” Lex said, sounding a little indifferent at the prospect all the same. “Much less of a scandal this way, if they’re under the impression that, because it is a date, there’s something else underlying it than simply good sex.”
He looked back to Roy, now, eye contact unwavering and an intent, almost tense air about him now.
“I must confess,” Lex started, voice soft but deliberate, “I also had my own reasons for inviting you to dinner with me tonight. I’ve come to realize, through your disappearance and reappearance in my life, that I have started to see you as something more than we’ve been, my dear. And if I’m not mistaken, you’ve developed… feelings, as well?”
“Luthor” M’gann stated calmly, even though she wanted to shout at him Conner wasn’t his son. It always seemed to her that Luthor only saw Conner as a son when it benefited him in reality he was nothing more than a donor of his DNA, at least that’s how she saw it. “If I have, I don’t see how it’s any concern of yours.”
“Ah,” Lex said, seemingly not phased at all by her… disposition in interacting with him. A pity, really, that all the little heroes saw him as such a monster. “A touchy subject, then? Come now, it isn’t a crime for a father to want to know how his son is doing.”
